dpkg-repack - Debian package archiving tool dpkg-repack creates a .deb file out of a debian package that has already been installed on your system. If any changes have been made to the package while it was unpacked (for example, modified files in /etc), the new package will inherit the changes. This utility can make it easy to copy packages from one computer to another, or to recreate packages that are installed on your system, but no longer available elsewhere, or to save the state of a package before you upgrade it or make some other change that you fear may break the package. Releases -------- The current legacy, stable and development releases can be found at: <https://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/dpkg-repack/> For older releases check: <https://snapshot.debian.org/package/dpkg-repack/> Source Repository ----------------- The primary repository can be browsed and cloned from: <https://git.dpkg.org/git/dpkg/dpkg-repack.git> Mailing List ------------ The subscription interface and web archives can be found at: <https://lists.debian.org/debian-dpkg/> The mailing list address is (no subscription required to post): debian-dpkg@lists.debian.org
